Job Summary:
- Responsible for the timely preparation and seasoning of all foods served in the hospital. Also responsible for sanitation of area and equipment and service on patient tray line.
Job Duties:
- Assists with preparing food and beverages for distribution to patients, guests, service/dining areas, and catering services.
- Stores food, beverages, and supplies in designated containers and areas according to policies andprocedures.
- Assists with customer-facing duties as assigned, including tray delivery and catering special events.
- Assists with sanitation duties, including dishwashing and maintaining work and food service areas in a clean, safe, and orderly condition
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Minimum Work Experience Six months previous food preparation experience. If no experience, on-the-job training will be provided.
