Plant Operations Tech PRN-7457-12561

Description

Installs, tests, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, and systems as scheduled or needed.

Performs utility and structural repairs as needed, alone or in collaboration with internal/external tradespersons.

Inspects, tests, and maintains records for all fire risers, sprinklers, extinguishers, fire doors, and other fire/safety-related equipment and systems.

Moves items within/between locations and from/to storage.

Assists in special project needs.

Handle with Care participation annually or CPI participation every 2 years.

Qualifications

Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent required

Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Required Skills
License: Must have a valid TN drivers license and good driving record. Good driving record consist of not more than 2 moving violations in last 3 years, 1 at fault accident in last 3 years, no DUI, reckless or careless driving, and no suspensions of license in last 3 years.

Minimum Work Experience
Previous experience in hospital or industrial maintenance; five to ten years solid background in all phases of building maintenance (remodeling, demolition, new construction, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, pipefitting, plumbing, etc.) preferred
